True Friends

#thankgodfortruefriends
#TrueFriends not only stay around in our most difficult times but will lead us out back into the light!
When we can't find a way out, and do not know how to come out of a situation, they not only give a hand but will show us a way to get out of the maze we are caught in!
A few #TrueFriends who stay by us through our #difficult and #dark times, are better than many #fairweather friends, who fade away in our hard times.
In The Bible many of Job's friends left him when he was going through the most difficult time of his life.
Job 19:14 My relatives have failed, And my close friends have forgotten me.
Job 19:19 All my close friends abhor me, And those whom I love have turned against me.
The fact of life is...
Proverbs 14:20 "The poor man is hated even by his own neighbor, But the rich has many friends."
But the truth is, 'True Friends' will love at all times! #Period!
Proverbs 17:17 "A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity."
Today let us thank God for all our true friend, loves ones who stay by our side through thick & thin, good times & bad times, our highs & lows, up & down!
But the greatest love and the Best ever friend we can have is our Lord Jesus Christ!
If we follow Him and keep His commandments, He calls us His friends!
John 15:14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.
And what more, He laid His life for us!
John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends."
God bless,
Julia

Unless we become like little children...

Jesus Christ our Lord said,
“Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 18:3
Little children are innocent, their love is pure and not corrupted by this world! They are not selfish, do not hold grudge and smile easily and trust totally! And our Lord wants us to become like little kids!
Children are a gift from God. He entrusted them to us. There are angels assigned to watch over little children.
Matthew 18: 10 "See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven."
And these angels always watch the Father's face. So we need to value our kids, each of them are special in God's eyes.
Let kids not be aborted or ignored. God cares for a child, right from when it's formed in it's mothers womb.
They are precious!
HEBREWS 11:23 says,"By Faith Moses' parents hid him for 3 months after he was born because they say he was no ordinary child and they were not afraid of the king's edict."
† Every child on earth is special because God has great plans for each of them.

" RAIN WASHED "(A touching story...) (Author Unknown)

Children teach us valuable lessons!
" RAIN WASHED "(A touching story...)

(Author Unknown)
A little girl had been shopping with her Mom in Target. She must have been 6 years old, this beautiful red haired, freckle faced image of innocence. It was pouring outside. The kind of rain that gushes over the top of rain gutters, so much in a hurry to hit the earth it has no time to flow down the spout. We all stood there under the awning and just inside the door of the Target.
We waited, some patiently, others irritated because nature messed up their hurried day. I am always mesmerized by rainfall. I got lost in the sound and sight of the heavens washing away the dirt and dust of the world. Memories of running, splashing so carefree as a child came pouring in as a welcome reprieve from the worries of my day.
The little voice was so sweet as it broke the hypnotic trance we were all caught in, "Mom, let's run through the rain," she said. "What?" Mom asked.
"Let's run through the rain!" She repeated.
"No, honey. We'll wait until it slows down a bit," Mom replied.
This young child waited about another minute and repeated, "Mom, let's run through the rain."
"We'll get soaked if we do," Mom said.
"No, we won't, Mom. That's not what you said this morning," the young girl said as she tugged at her Mom's arm.
"This morning? When did I say we could run through the rain and not get wet?"
" Don't you remember? When you were
talking to Daddy about his cancer, you said, 'If God can get us through this, He can get us through anything!'"
The entire crowd stopped dead silent. I swear you couldn't hear anything but the rain. We all stood silently. No one came or left in the next few minutes. Mom paused and thought for a moment about what she would say. Now some would laugh it of and scold her for being silly. Some might even ignore what was said. But this was a moment of affirmation in a young child's life. A time when innocent trust can be nurtured so that it will bloom into faith.
"Honey, you are absolutely right. Let's run through the rain. If God let's us get wet, well maybe we just needed washing" Mom said.
Then off they ran. We all stood watching,
smiling and laughing as they darted past the cars and yes, through the puddles. They held their shopping bags over their heads just in case. They got soaked. But they were followed by a few who screamed and laughed like children all the way to their cars.
And yes, I did. I ran. I got wet. I needed washing.
Circumstances or people can take away your material possessions, they can take away your money, and they can take away your health. But "no one can ever take away your precious memories. So, don't forget to make time and take opportunities to make memories everyday. To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven.

I HOPE YOU STILL TAKE THE TIME TO RUN THROUGH THE RAIN !!!

Mothers wish...

A mother always wishes her daughter will remember the little things she taught her as a child. May we teach our children not
just the right things to do but the right way to walk, good eating habits, good manners and Biblical values too!
So when they are big they will remember our teachings and walk the right path, stay healthy and fit!
